Emergency Check

Before Continuing

Virtual urgent care is not for life-threatening emergencies.

Call 911 for stroke symptoms, severe breathing difficulty, chest pain, uncontrolled bleeding, loss of consciousness, seizure, or another potentially life-threatening emergency.

Where are you physically located today?

My Virtual Care NP currently provides virtual healthcare services to patients who are physically located in Maryland or Virginia at the time of their telehealth visit.

Your physical location at the time of the appointment matters because healthcare delivered through telehealth is generally regulated based on where the patient is physically located when the service is provided.

Important

Your state of residence, mailing address, driver's license, insurance address, or usual place of residence does not replace the requirement to accurately identify where you are physically located when the telehealth service is provided.

Because telehealth laws and licensure requirements can vary, My Virtual Care NP reserves the right to decline or redirect care when the provider cannot safely and legally provide the requested service.

For example:

Maryland resident traveling in another state
You may not be eligible for a My Virtual Care NP telehealth visit while physically outside Maryland or Virginia.
Virginia resident temporarily visiting Maryland
You may be eligible if you are physically located in Maryland at the time of the visit and the provider is authorized to provide the service there.
Maryland resident physically in Virginia
Your visit is treated according to the rules applicable to the location where you are physically located.
